Measuring of the Barrier around of the C-N Band in the Molecule of 2-Cyano Ethyl Morpholine-4-Carbo Dithioate by DNMR
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Tafazzoli, Mohsen (Supervisor)
Abstract
In this research, the barrier around C-N bond in the molecule of 2-cyano ethyl morpholine-4-carbo dithioate was calculated by dynamic NMR. The 1H-NMR spectra of sample were recorded between temperatures of 240-332 K and 240-328 K in chloroform and acetone solvents, respectively. By analyzing the spectra by SpinWorks software, thermodynamic parameters (ΔG# , ΔH# , ΔS# ) extracded and compared with the data of quantum calculations . In quantum calculations, we compared data in two level (HF and B3LYP ).Consequently, the data of B3LYP method was better .Experimental ΔG# for internal rotation around C-N bond in 2-cyano ethyl morpholine-4-carbo dithioate was 14.04 kcal mol -1 and compared to...
The Effect of Teaching Critico-Creative Thinking Skills on Iranian In-Service EFL Teachers’ Critical Thinking, Perception, and Attitude
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Alemi, Minoo (Supervisor)
Abstract
In this millennium there has been a thought-provoking dispute over the inclusion of Critical Thinking (CT) programs into teaching syllabi; this inspiring challenge of change has led researcher to investigate the teachability and transferability of Critical Thinking. Thus, this study investigated whether explicit critical thinking instruction can foster critical thinking skills of in-service EFL teachers and enhance their disposition, perception and attitude. To fulfill the purposes of this study, California Critical Thinking Skill Tests (CCTST), EMI Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory, as well as perception and attitude questionnaires were utilized. The participants of this research were...
Simulation-based Service Allocation in Cloud Manufacturing Environments for a Specific Product Type Considering Focusing on Uncertainty in Services' Supply Demand
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Fatahi Valilai, Omid (Supervisor)
Abstract
Nowadays, both academic and industrial environment have come to the conclusion that recent manufacturing paradigms are probably no longer applicable to the ever-changing today’s business environments. That is why manufacturing is moving gradually from production-oriented to service-oriented approaches. Service-oriented manufacturing results in a variety of services through a product life cycle which create an abundance of high value-added markets promoting efficient collaboration and amazing innovation. Cloud Manufacturing as an intelligent newly developed service-oriented manufacturing paradigm provides platforms of shared and interconnected distributed manufacturing resources and...
Synthesis of a novel magnetic starch-alginic acid-based biomaterial for drug delivery

Abstract
The magnetic composite hydrogel was fabricated by the graft copolymerization of itaconic acid (IA) onto starch and Alginic acid in the presence graphene sheets (Gr) and Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4@Gr-IA/St-Alg) for Guaifenesin (GFN) delivery and wound healing. The Fe3O4@Gr-IA/St-Alg biomaterial is a hydrogel network endowed the material with magnetic property. In addition, GFN not only achieved effectively bound to the magnetic hydrogel, but also released in a controlled manner. The using external magnetic field has significantly positive influence on the drug release rate. To close, these hydrogel drug carriers offer a favorable platform for magnetically targeted drug delivery as well as a...
Electrical and Optical Characterization of Fabricated Carbon-Based Multilayer Structure versus Temperature
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Fardmanesh, Mehdi (Supervisor) ; Zamani, Atieh (Co-Supervisor)
Abstract
This study presents a comprehensive investigation into the characterization of three distinct homogeneous multilayer self-standing thin films, composed of stacked reduced graphene oxide (rGO) planes, which were synthesized using a modified Hummer’s method. In order to investigate their structural, electrical, and optical properties, the samples were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Raman spectroscopy, four-point probe measurements, Impedance measurements, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Time domain Terahertz Spectroscopy (TDS). The FESEM images obtained from the samples reveal a smooth sheet-like surface with few wrinkles....
The Impact of Employees' Perceptions of Internal Branding Dimensions on Employees' Brand Building Behaviors with the Mediating Role of Brand Commitment and Brand Identity and the Moderating Role of Organizational Cynicism
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Mirbagheri, Alireza (Supervisor) ; Mirfakhar, Atieh (Supervisor)
Abstract
In today’s competitive market, an organization’s brand position is shaped not only through advertising and product quality but also directly through employee performance and attitudes. A substantial portion of customer experience depends on employee behavior, and any misalignment between brand values and promises with employee actions can undermine brand image. Internal branding serves as a strategic tool to align employees with brand values and to strengthen their brand commitment and brand identity. However, many organizations face challenges in translating this approach into tangible outcomes. Therefore, the present study aims to provide practical strategies for more effective...
Examination of Determinants for Successful Implementation of Human Resource Analytics: A Case Study in A Virtual Organization
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Alavi, Babak (Supervisor) ; Mirfakhar, Atieh Sadat (Supervisor)
Abstract
Despite adoption of HR analytics and the recognition of its importance by senior managers, its effective implementation in organizations remains a challenge. Given the benefits of HR analytics for organizations and the relative readiness of organizational structures to leverage it, this study seeks to answer the question: “How can HR analytics processes be effectively implemented in organizations?” Establishing an empirical foundation for improving existing theoretical models can significantly contribute to advancing this field. Using a single-case study approach, this research investigates the implementation of an employee engagement system through Officevibe software in a startup operating...

Abstract
The current coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak spread rapidly worldwide. Yet, there is no identifiable antiviral treatment, so an effective drug is urgently needed. Preventive strategies and oxygen therapy are the main practical approaches to prevent and treat COVID-19. Clinical trials are in progress for the antiviral and immunomodulation agents that eventually are being developed for COVID-19 treatment. Pharmacological, immunotherapies, natural-based supplements, biologics, and combination therapies interventions have been established. The concept of drug repurposing was re-visited, and many conventional antivirals or immunosuppresses were evaluated for Efficacy against COVID-19...
