, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Sadighi Moshkenani, Mohsen (Supervisor)
Abstract
With the development of social network sites and wide use of Social Networks, information security and confidence of its components, became more and more important and turned into subject of many studies and researches. Relationship based on trust besides increasing productivity reduces risk of information transmission to non-related people. Although in the real world, semantic relations are the main basics for trust, but the existing methods of trusting in current sites have less attention to this point. To reduce such issues, firstly this research is going to use an added semantic understanding on top of the social networks structure. To do so, there is an inference engine in addition to a...
Semantic Based Web Service Classification
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Sadighi Moshkenani, Mohsen (Supervisor)
Abstract
Web services are some kind of software applications which are available on the Web. Growing the popularity of Web services, led to increasing number of providers and as a result a great deal of Web services. This huge number of services made the searching and discovery tasks hard and effort-full jobs. In order to have a better discovery it is better to first classify Web services into some categories and then search in the relevant class. Although this classification can be done based on matching key words through the service registration information, such syntax-level service facilities can’t achieve the satisfaction results both in the precision and the recall sides. Human experience shows...

Semantic Approach to Privacy Protection in Social Networks
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Sadighi Moshkenani, Mohsen (Supervisor)
Abstract
Social network is a map of relationships among individuals or organizations. With the development of social network sites (SNS), security protection of private information online has been a serious and important research topic. Information in social networks is online all the time and available to a large number of visitors. The main problem in current SNSs is that, people are not able to define different categories for their relations and then they cannot have good self-defined privacy policies. Also default policies cannot satisfy different environments and cultures and will serve information to strangers. After that different social networks with different interfaces are not...

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Sadighi Moshkenani, Mohsen (Supervisor) ; Safari, Mohammad Ali (Supervisor)
Abstract
Web service technology is becoming increasingly popular since it is very bene?cial in di?erent types of applications. Due to a dramatical increase in the number of developed web services, the service discovery process has become crucial for using web services e?ciently. Service is an adaptive, self-describing, modular application, which may be used in either web or an internal network. Service providers should o?er the services along with a description ?le called advertisement explaining the speci?cations and functionalities of the service. Traditional service discovery methods are based on syntax and keyword matching, which may not satisfy the requester’s desired requirements and will...

Abstract
Update of software usually equates disruption to a program's execution. However, such disruptions in the execution of applications that provide round-the-clock services is not desirable. Examples of such applications include multi-tier enterprise systems with which users may interact via distinct presentation tiers at the same time. Existing software updating systems do not operate in the enterprise applications, or they need most of the redeployment tasks to be performed manually. In this paper, we present a framework capable of Automatically Redeploying Enterprise Software Applications (ARESA). This system combines the idea of incremental and integral updates to preserve the consistency of...

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Azmi, Reza (Supervisor) ; Sedighi Moshkenani, Mohsen (Supervisor)
Abstract
Nowadays trust has become one of the main challenges of every online social network. The open and decentralized nature of Peer-to-Peer network makes it vulnerable to be exploited by malicious users to distribute tampered and harmful contents. We propose a dynamic computational trust model based on a neuro-fuzzy approach and implemented it on Gnutella network. The model is a novel application of control systems approach for evaluating trust and reputation in P2P networks. We utilize Local Linear Model Tree (LOLIMOT) to perform a nonlinear dynamic system identiffcation and thus to approximate trust. The performance of our reputation-based trust model is evaluated by simulation. We create a...

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Sadati, Nasser (Supervisor)
Abstract
In this project, an online controller design method based on parameter optimization is presented. The structure of controller is chosen to be the Internal Model Control (IMC). The cost function and constraints which include both time domain and frequency domain functionals are calculated directly from measurements of system’s output in order to reduce the effect of uncertainty in model estimation and controller design. The controller design problem is formulated as a convex optimization problem with ellipsoid algorithm used for its solution. The model of the system and a worst case upper bound on remaining uncertainty in model due to measurement noise, along with unmodeled dynamics of the...

Generation of plasma blocks accelerated by nonlinear forces from ultraviolet KrF laser pulses for fast ignition
, Article Laser and Particle Beams ; Volume 28, Issue 1 , 2010 , Pages 101-107 ; 02630346 (ISSN) ; Hora, H ; Riazi, Z ; Yazdani, E ; Sadighi, S. K ; Sharif University of Technology
2010
Abstract
Here we report on the production of highly directed ion blocks by plasma interaction of ultraviolet wavelength light produced from a KrF laser. This may support the requirement to produce a fast ignition deuterium-tritium fusion at densities not much higher than the solid state by a single shot petawatt-picoseconds ultraviolet laser pulse. Using double Rayleigh initial density profiles, we are studying numerically how the nonlinear force necessary to accelerate plasma blocks may reach the highest possible thickness. Propagation of plasma blocks and the volumetric hot electrons can be shown in detail. Results of computations for wavelengths of two lasers are compared, which show that the...
Self-focusing up to the incident laser wavelength by an appropriate density ramp
, Article Laser and Particle Beams ; Volume 29, Issue 4 , 2011 , Pages 453-458 ; 02630346 (ISSN) ; Moshkelgosha, M ; Sharif University of Technology
2011
Abstract
This work is devoted to improving relativistic self-focusing of intense laser beam in underdense unmagnetized plasma. New density profiles are introduced to achieve beam width parameter up to the wavelength of the propagating laser. By investigating variations of the beam width parameter in presence of different density profiles it is found that the beam width parameter is considerably decreased for the introduced density ramp comparing with uniform density and earlier introduced density ramp profiles. By using this new density profile high intensity laser pulses are guided over several Rayleigh lengths with extremely small beam width parameter
Theoretical investigation of electromagnetically induced phase grating in RF-driven cascade-Type atomic systems
, Article Applied Optics ; Volume 54, Issue 11 , 2015 , Pages 3484-3490 ; 1559128X (ISSN) ; Naseri, T ; Sharif University of Technology
2015
Abstract
A new scheme for investigating electromagnetically induced grating in four-level cascade-Type of 87Rb cold atoms is presented. The novel result indicates that the diffraction efficiency of phase grating is dramatically enhanced due to the presence of an RF-driven field and a diffraction efficiency up to 34% can be obtained. Furthermore, it is found that the frequency detuning of the applied laser fields with the corresponding atomic transition and the interaction length can improve the efficiency of the phase grating in the present atomic model. This work has potential applications in all-optical communication processes
Potential and energy of the monoenergetic electrons in an alternative ellipsoid bubble model
, Article Physical Review A - Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics ; Volume 81, Issue 2 , 2010 ; 10502947 (ISSN) ; Rahmatallahpur, S ; Sharif University of Technology
2010
Abstract
The electron acceleration in the bubble regime is considered during the intense laser-plasma interaction. The presented ellipsoid cavity model is more consistent than the previous spherical model, and it explains the monoenergetic electron trajectory more accurately. At the relativistic region, the maximum energy of electrons in the ellipsoid model is about 24% more than the spherical model, and this is confirmed by PIC and the measured experimental results reported here. The electron energy spectrum is also calculated, and it is found that the energy distribution ratio of electrons ΔE/E for the ellipsoid model in the here reported condition is about 11% which is less than the one third that...
