				A fundamental chemical enhanced oil recovery (EOR) process is surfactant flooding in which the key mechanism is to reduce interfacial tension between oil and the displacing fluid and hence mobilizing the trapped oil. Surfactant loss by adsorption is one of the most important criteria that governs the economics of the surfactant flooding methods. In addition to this, detrimental effects and high price of currently used surfactants cause EOR process so expensive and unfeasible. Kish gas field, with a capacity of 67 trillion cubic meters gas, is one of the main hubs of Iran gas production. One of the uses of natural gas is to produce petrochemical goods such as Methanol. In this thesis the focus is on economical evaluation of producing Methanol for amount of 5,000 tons per day from Kish gas field. As a result, the required feed has been estimated about 150 million cubic feet per day and the net capital investment calculated to  be 941 million US dollars. In this paper, we propose a new task: predicting the predominant sentiment among (first-order) replies to a given tweet. Therefore, we created RETwEET, a large dataset of tweets and replies manually annotated with sentiment labels. 				In this paper, we consider an integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) system with wireless power transfer (WPT) where an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based radar serves a group of energy-limited communication users in addition to its sensing functionality. 				Modified couple stress theory is a size-dependent theorem capturing the micro/nanoscale effects influencing the mechanical behaviors of the micro- and nanostructures. In this paper, it is applied to investigate the nonlinear vibration of carbon nanotubes under step DC voltage. The vibration, natural frequencies and dynamic pull-in characteristics of the carbon nanotubes are studied in detail. Moreover, the effects of various boundary conditions and geometries are scrutinized on the dynamic characteristics. The results reveal that application of this theory leads to the higher values of the natural frequencies and dynamic pull-in voltages

				We study a classical problem in communication and wireless networks called Finding White Space Regions. In this problem, we are given a set of antennas (points) some of which are noisy (black) and the rest are working fine (white). The goal is to find a set of convex hulls with maximum total area that cover all white points and exclude all black points. In other words, these convex hulls make it safe for white antennas to communicate with each other without any interference with black antennas. We study the problem on three different settings (based on overlapping between different convex hulls) and find hardness results and good approximation algorithms
