    Network-on-Chips (NoCs) usually use regular mesh-based topologies.Regular mesh topologies are not always efficient because of power and area constraints which should be considered in designing system-on-chips.To overcome this problem,irregular mesh NoCs are used for which the design of routing algorithms is an important issue.This paper presents a novel routing algorithm for irregular mesh-based NoCs called "i-route". In contrast to other routing algorithms,this algorithm can be implemented on any arbitrary irregular mesh NoC without any change in the place of IPs.     This thesis presents the results of an experimental and analytical study on the application of the strapping technique for seismic retrofit of reinforced concrete columns. In this technique, the columns are externally confined by post-tensioned metal strips. In the first phase of the experiments, the compressive stress-strain behavior of strapped cylindrical and prismatic specimens was studied. Effects of several parameters were studied including shape and size of specimens, strength of plain concrete, mechanical characteristics of confining strips and the level of pre-tensioning of the strips.     In this paper, the effects of Stone-Wales (SW) defect on transport properties of armchair graphene nanoribbons (AGNRs) are studied using tight binding calculations combined with nonequilibrium Green's function (NEGF). We evaluate transmission and density of states (DOS) in two cases, pristine and defective AGNR, and we compare the results. Our results indicate that in the latter case, a larger bandgap is made due to symmetry breaking in GNR layer

Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) showed the smooth and beadless nanofibers and X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) showed the ZnO hexagonal and the CdO cubic structure.     Equivariant adaptive separation via independence (EASI) is one of the most successful algorithms for blind source separation (BSS). However, the user has to choose non-linearities, and usually simple (but non-optimal) cubic polynomials are applied. In this paper, the optimal choice of these non-linearities is addressed. We show that this optimal non-linearity is the output score function difference (SFD). Contrary to simple non-linearities usually used in EASI (such as cubic polynomials), the optimal choice is neither component-wise nor fixed: it is a multivariate function which depends on the output distributions.
