    Abstract
    The simulation of fractured reservoir is conventionally performed by using dual porosity formulation in which the type of transfer function may be critical. Over the past few years, various models with their strength and weakness have been developed to account for matrix-fracture interporosity flow. However, some of them are unable to simulate some mechanisms like gravity drainage. In this work, the most well-known transfer functions have been examined for simulation of the gravity drainage in a single block model and an improvement has been introduced to modify them.     Iran is a country with numerous traffic accidents, offenses, and disruptions. According to the deterrence theory, increased detection of traffic offenses would decrease violations.     Abstract
    In this paper, a three-dimensional simulation of fully coupled multiphase fluid flow and heat transfer through deforming porous media is presented in the context of EFG mesh-less method. Spatial discretization of the system of governing equations is performed using EFG and a fully implicit finite difference scheme is employed for temporal discretization. Penalty method is used for imposition of essential boundary conditions. The developed numerical tool is employed to simulate two problems of nuclear waste disposal and CO2 sequestration in deep underground strata. The obtained results demonstrate the capability and robustness of the developed EFG code. © 2018 Elsevier Ltd

    In the high energy cosmic ray surface arrays, the primary energies are often determined by fitting the lateral distribution function to the distribution of detected secondary particles of extensive air showers. The accuracy of this model-dependent approach depends on the accuracy of the lateral distribution function and consequently can cause some difficulties.     Abstract
    Economists and policy-makers believe that the Fiscal Decentralization is an effective strategy to promote economic growth. Thereby Economic Growth is seen as an objective of Fiscal Decentralization and efficiency in the allocation of resources in the public sector. This study analyzed the relationship between fiscal decentralization and economic growth in Iran for the period 2001-2007.We used data for 28 provinces of the country estimated the model using a panel data regression with Fixed Effect.     We have simulated more than 105 extensive air showers (EAS) by CORSIKA code, with a proton as the primary particle. The range of energy for primary particles was selected from 50 TeV to 5 PeV, with differential flux given by dN/dE E-2.7. Using the secondary charged particles produced of these EASs, we obtained the function dNsp(θ,X)/dθ, where Nsp(θ,X) is the number of secondary charged particles in EASs as a function of atmosphere depth, X, and zenith angle, θ.     Crash forecasting enables safety planners to take appropriate actions before casualty or loss occurs. Identifying and analyzing the attributes influencing forecasting accuracy is of great importance in road crash forecasting. This study aims to model the forecasting accuracy of 31 provinces using their macroeconomic variables and road traffic indicators.     In this paper, we investigate the impact of mobility on the spread of COVID-19 in Tehran, Iran. We have performed a time series analysis between the indicators of public transit use and inter-city trips on the number of infected people. Our results showed a significant relationship between the number of infected people and mobility variables with both short-term and long-term lags. The long-term effect of mobility showed to have a consistent lag correlation with the weekly number of new COVID-19 positive cases.
