Sustainable-Resilient Supplier Selection Through Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making Approaches
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Akbari Jokar, Mohammad Resa (Supervisor) ; Memari, Ashkan (Co-Supervisor)
Abstract
Today, with the expansion of business relations at international levels, there are many organizations that operate in global supply chains. Activities at such levels face new types of challenges in various fields of "supply chain management" pillars, of which "supplier selection" is one of them. The possibility of unexpected events, the need to comply with environmental protection laws, as well as the need to take into account social considerations, are among the things that have increased by being in larger supply chains, making it challenging to provide the basic resources needed in such chains and forcing their managers to considering considerations other than what they have always...

Abstract
Tin Oxide Nanoparticle (SnO2) with the band gap of around 3.6 eV is one of the promising materials in various fields such as photocatalysis water splitting, pollutant removal and also biotechnology. Inorder to use this material in a visible-light rang, some promotions should be conducted.By combining SnO2 nanoparticles with the non-metalic graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4), a proper nanocomposite with wide range of application can be obtained. But, in order to industrialize this material, the cost of the final product is an imperative issue to consider. Here we have introduced a novel and low-cost method for synthesis of g-C3N4/SnO2 nanocomposite by using urea as a precursor for g-C3N4 and...

Abstract
The most common reasons for hard-tissue implant failure are structural loosening and prosthetic infections. Hence, in this study, to overcome the first problem, different bioinspired coatings, including dual acid-etched, anodic TiO2 nanotubes array, anodic hierarchical titanium oxide (HO), micro- and nanostructured hydroxyapatite (HA) layers, and HA/chitosan (HA/CS) nanocomposite, were applied to the titanium alloy surfaces. X-ray diffraction and FTIR analysis demonstrated that the in situ HA/CS nanocomposite formed successfully. The MTT assay showed that all samples had excellent cell viability, with cell proliferation rates ranging from 120% to 150% after 10 days. The HO coating...

Abstract
Highly porous nanocomposites of graphitic-carbon nitride and tin oxide (g-C3N4/SnO2) were prepared through simple pyrolysis of urea molecules under microwave irradiation. The initial amount of tin was varied in order to investigate the effect of SnO2 content on preparation and properties of the composites. The synthesized nanocomposites were well-characterized by XRD, FE-SEM, HR-TEM, BET, FTIR, XPS, DRS, and PL. A homogeneous distribution of SnO2 nanoparticles with the size of less than 10 nm on the porous C3N4 sheets could be obtained, suggesting that in-situ synthesis of SnO2 nanoparticles was responsible for the formation of g-C3N4. The process likely occurred by the aid of the large...

Abstract
Cupric oxide (CuO) is a semiconductor of choice for photocathode in photoelectrochemical (PEC) applications due to its great sunlight absorption capability. However, photocorrosion is the main drawback of CuO. Herein, CuO/graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) with a unique microstructure, enhanced PEC performance, and considerable photostability is synthesized under microwave irradiation. A facile, one-pot method is utilized to directly deposit the nanocomposite onto fluorine-doped tin oxide from a solution containing copper precursor and urea. Possible mechanism of CuO/g-C3N4 formation through this novel method is investigated. It is elucidated that controlled amounts of urea critically...

Abstract
The cost-effective, robust, and efficient electrocatalysts for photoelectrochemical (PEC) water-splitting has been extensively studied over the past decade to address a solution for the energy crisis. The interesting physicochemical properties of CuO have introduced this promising photocathodic material among the few photocatalysts with a narrow bandgap. This photocatalyst has a high activity for the PEC hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) under simulated sunlight irradiation. Here, the recent advancements of CuO-based photoelectrodes, including undoped CuO, doped CuO, and CuO composites, in the PEC water-splitting field, are comprehensively studied. Moreover, the synthesis methods,...
