Abstract
Vehicle tracking is an essential requirement of any vision based Intelligent Transportation System for extracting different traffic parameters, efficiently. Handling inter-object occlusion is the most challenging part of tracking as a process of finding and following interested objects in a sequence of video frames. In this paper we present a system, based on code-book background model for motion segmentation and Kalman filter for tracking with a new approach for occlusion. This approach separates occluded vehicles based on longest common substring of chain codes. We use this tracking system to estimate some traffic parameters. Winner Strategies in a Simulated Stock Market

Abstract
In this study, we explore the dynamics of the stock market using an agent-based simulation platform. Our approach involves creating a multi-strategy market where each agent considers both fundamental and technical factors when determining their strategy. The agents vary in their approach to these factors and the time interval they use for technical analysis. Our findings indicate that investing heavily in reducing the value–price gap was a successful strategy, even in markets where there were no trading forces to reduce this gap. We study diffusive heterogeneous predator-prey system with Holling type-II functional response in the presence of harvesting in prey equation i.e.{-δu=λu-a(x)u2-buv1+mu-ch(x)in Ω,-δv=μv-v2+duv1+muin Ω,∂νu=∂νv=0on ∂Ω, where Ω is a smooth bounded region in RN and a(x) is a nonnegative continuous function on Ω, with Ω0 a region such that Ω⊂Ω and a(x)>0 on Ω\u03a90. Abstract
This method introduces the structural error of regression deviation, which is an effective method for the path generation of a vast type of planar and spatial mechanism. The proposed method avoids point-by-point comparison and requirement of timing and reflects the difference between the two curves very effectively in the objective function. By decreasing the number of the design variables, this method would help considerably in decreasing CPU time. The objective function that is based on regression error would converge to a global minimum by a genetic algorithm. The direction of arrival (DOA) error in dipole 3D arrays is estimated through Monte-Carlo simulations using the standard MUSIC algorithm. Novel 3D geometries are implemented which demonstrate better precision given the same lateral area. The mutual coupling effect is included by changing the search vector in the MUSIC DOA algorithm for the novel 3D geometries. A new structure is suggested for simultaneous microwave chirped pulse generation and array antenna beam steering. It is based on using a multi-channel fiber Bragg grating in a photonic microwave delay-line filter. The paper presents a feasibility study of the idea, discussing the main performance parameters of both signal generation and beam steering functions. A semi-analytical formulation is presented to quantify the effects of group delay ripple on the performance of an optical beam-former. For delay elements, implemented with commercially available multi-channel fiber Bragg gratings, an impulse response is introduced and calculated for the group delay ripple. Limitations imposed by the non-linearity of optical links, in the front end of a receiving array antenna, on the performance of a pulse compression radar are studied. Particularly linear frequency-modulated waveforms backscattered from a pair of targets are inspected. Inter-modulation and gain compression by noise are presented as two remarkable phenomena. For an interconnection of two dual-drive Mach-Zehnder modulators, the sensitivity of the compressed echo at the output of a matched filter receiver to certain tunable parameters is studied numerically.
