Simulation and Analysis Graphene Based Bio-chemical Sensor Using Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Tareh, Batool (Author) ; Faez, Rahim (Supervisor)
    Abstract
One of the different sensing techniques for biosensors is based on surface plasmon resonance which provides high reliability and efficiency. In this project working operating principles of biosensors based on surface plasmon resonance will be examined. For investigation of sensing meachanism we assume that there an array consisting of alternating graphen ribbons which by applying light leads to an effective magnetic field coupling to the localized surface plasmon. The numerical calculations are based on the exact solution of Maxwell's equation using Fuorier Model Method and Matlab coding. In these calculations, the coefficients of transmission, reflection and absorption of light versus...

Significance of Interfacial Nanolayer and Mixed Convection in Radiative Casson Hybrid Nanofluid Flow by Permeable Rotating Cone

    Abstract
Hybrid nanofluids exhibit higher thermal performance than conventional nanofluids. Due to improved thermal features of hybrid nanomaterials, these materials can be utilized in industrial and engineering devices to enhance their efficiency. Owing such applications, the aim objective of current study is to examine the behavior of radiative non-Newtonian Casson fluid submerged tiny particles of cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) and manganese zinc spinal ferrite (Mn − Zn Fe2O4). Behavior of flow is examined in a rotating porous cone with cluster interfacial layer impacts. Slip mechanisms of solid nanoparticles at the boundary of the surface are accounted. The governing flow model is acquired taking the...

    Abstract
The Ukrainian economic crisis began with the start of the war and grew over time. This is because trade between countries was spread out because of problems with the supply chain. However, the energy sector in Ukraine is largely disturbed by this armed conflict. The purpose of this study was to test the impact of infrastructure damage, trade sanctions, the economic crisis, and energy investments in green energy in Ukraine through the lens of sustainable development goals (SGDs). The data is collected from the Ukrainian public, and the sample size for this research is 384. This research has used the structural equation modeling method by using Smart PLS 3 for data analysis. The findings of...

    Abstract
Soil salinity threatens agricultural production worldwide by constraining plant growth and final crop yield. The early stages are most sensitive to salinity, in response to which salicylic acid (SA) has demonstrated beneficial effects in various plant species. Based on this, a maize (Zea mays L.) pot experiment was set up combining three levels of soil salinity (0, 6 and 12 dS m–1), obtained through NaCl addition, with three levels of SA (0, 300 and 600 mM), applied by leaf spraying 20 days after seedling emergence. Fifteen days later, the following traits were assessed: morphology (plant height, leaf number), growth (root and shoot dry weight), leaf water status [relative water content...

    Abstract
A combination of measurements of the inclusive top-quark pair production cross-section performed by ATLAS and CMS in proton–proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV at the LHC is presented. The cross-sections are obtained using top-quark pair decays with an opposite-charge electron–muon pair in the final state and with data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 5 fb−1 at s = 7 TeV and about 20 fb−1 at s = 8 TeV for each experiment. The combined cross-sections are determined to be 178.5 ± 4.7 pb at s = 7 TeV and 243.3−5.9+6.0 pb at s = 8 TeV with a correlation of 0.41, using a reference top-quark mass value of 172.5 GeV. The ratio of the combined cross-sections...
