Study of Physical Properties of Poly(1,3 Butadiene-co-Acrylic acid-co-Acrylonitrile) Terpolymer

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Tati, Ali (Author) ; Musavi, Abbas (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Butadiene is one of the most widely used materials in the Iran polymer industry. In order to use this material in the first step, the inhibitor must be separated. Consequently, at the start of the project, the separation of Tert butylcatechol inhibitors from butadiene was studied by the adsorption process on active alumina. The results of the condensed butadiene gas chromatography–mass spectrometry test indicate that, by using the active alumina as an adsorbent, the tert butylcatechol will be removed completely. In the next step, 1,3 butadiene, acrylonitrile, acrylic acid acid terpolymer, which one of its applications is manufacturing of artificial teeth, was synthesized by emulsion...

Some Applications of Seiberg-Witten Theory in Symplectic Geometry

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Tati, Jasem (Author) ; Esfahanizadeh, Mostafa (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Incoporating Gauge theory to study 4-dimensional manifolds, initiated by works of Donaldson, leading to resolve many problems of 4-dimensional topology.after Donaldson ,Seiberg and Witten introduced a novel Gauge theory that we will introduce and study some application of this theory.at beginning, we will establish Seiberg-Witten equation on these manifolds, following that we investigate moduli space of solutions of Seiberg Witten equations and later we define Seiberg - Witten invariants on these manifolds.at f we probe some applications of Seiberg-Witten invariants in Symplectic Geometry and we will show that Seiberg-Witten invariants are non-zero for Symplectic manifolds with canonical SpinC...

Development of an active/barrier bi-functional anti-corrosion system based on the epoxy nanocomposite loaded with highly-coordinated functionalized zirconium-based nanoporous metal-organic framework (Zr-MOF)

    , Article Chemical Engineering Journal ; 2020 Ramezanzadeh, M ; Ramezanzadeh, B ; Bahlakeh, G ; Tati, A ; Mahdavian, M ; Sharif University of Technology
    Elsevier B.V  2020
    Abstract
For the first time, the UIO-66, NH2-UIO, and NH2-UIO particles covalently functionalized by Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA@NH2-UIO), were utilized as the novel functional anti-corrosive fillers. The functionality, high surface area, phase composition, excellent thermal properties as well as chemical stability of the Zr-MOFs were proved by FT-IR, BET, XRD, TGA, and water stability tests, respectively. The smart pH-sensitive controlled-release activity of the corrosion inhibitors (i.e., Zr ions and organic compounds) from the prepared Zr-MOFs was proved by the water stability test of the Zr-MOFs particles in the acidic (pH = 2), neutral (pH = 7.5), and alkaline (pH = 12) solutions containing 3.5...
