    Theoretical Investigation Of Chaotic Behavior In Optical Microresonators

    Abstract
    In this thesis, chaotic behavior of a photonic micro-resonator is investigated. First, a Lagrangian formulation is introduced for the system. Then, by applying a multi-reflection method, a closed formula is obtained for the radiation pressure. Use of this equation in the coupled differential equations describing dynamics of the problem gives us a suitable model for exploring the behavior of the micro-resonator. In this stage, we compare our results with experimental data too. On the other hand, using above mentioned formulation, chaotic behavior of the micro-resonator is investigated using numerical method.     Study on The Influence of Nanoparticles and Magnetic Field on The Liquid-Liquid Mass Transfer Coefficients

    Abstract
    Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles were synthesized and coated with Oleic Acid using the co-precipitation method. The particles were characterized using DLS, FT-IR, SEM, XRD, VSM and UV-Vis spectrophotometry analysis. The mean size of particles was 28.8 nm and the FT-IR analysis indicated that Oleic Acid was coated suitably on the nanoparticles. The vsm test indicated no hysteresis loop for the particles, defining the superparamagnetism of them. A nanofluid containing nanoparticles in 5wt% Acetic Acid in Toluene as the base fliud was prepared.     Abstract
    We study a new contraction of a d+1 dimensional relativistic conformal algebra where n+1 directions remain unchanged. For n = 0,1 the resultant algebras admit infinite dimensional extension containing one and two copies of Virasoro algebra, respectively. For 1$">n>1 the obtained algebra is finite dimensional containing an so(2,n+1) subalgebra. The gravity dual is provided by taking a Newton-Cartan like limit of the Einstein's equations of AdS space which singles out an AdS n+2 spacetime. The infinite dimensional extension of n = 0,1 cases may be understood from the fact that the dual gravities contain AdS 2 and AdS 3 factor, respectively.     Abstract
    Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems are so popular in aerial imaging because of their high resolution. Ground moving target indication (GMTI) is one of the most challenging problems in this field. The use of multiple antennas in transmit and receive is an innovative idea that can overcome the limitations of SAR systems. In this paper, after modelling the received signal and focusing it, we propose an algorithm for GMTI with the use of compressed sensing. The proposed algorithm has low complexity compared to similar algorithms. Simulation results show that this approach is accurate in estimation of positions and velocities of moving targets. © 2018 IEEE

    In this paper, we have developed an efficient method for obtaining an orthonormal wavelet that is matched to a given signal. The error between the wavelet and the given signal is minimized subject to the constraints of the amplitude and phase of the band-limited wavelet spectrum. To consider the constraints of the minimization problem, the Lagrange multipliers technique is applied.     In this paper, for the first time, chaotic behavior of a classical moving-mirror Fabry-Perot cavity is obtained by finding numerical solution of a system of delay differential equations (previously obtained by a phenomenological approach (T. Carmon, M. C. Cross, K. J. Vahala, Phys. Rev. Lett. 98 (2007) 167203)). Fourier transform of the electromagnetic power for different values of pump power is calculated.     In this article a new parameter is introduced that optimizes penetration depth of a long rod penetrating into a semi-infinite target. This parameter helps to optimize penetration depth when the projectile is subjected to transverse loading.     We study different features of 3D non-relativistic CFT using gravity description. As the corresponding gravity solution can be embedded into the type IIB string theory, we study semi-classical closed/open strings in this background. In particular we consider folded rotating and circular pulsating closed strings where we find the anomalous dimension of the dual operators as a function of their quantum numbers. We also consider moving open strings in this background which can be used to compute the drag force.     Abstract
    We extend the nonrelativistic AdS/CFT correspondence to the fermionic fields. In particular, we study the two point function of a fermionic operator in nonrelativistic CFTs by making use of a massive fermion propagating in geometries with Schrödinger group isometry. Although the boundary of the geometries with Schrödinger group isometry differ from that in AdS geometries where the dictionary of AdS/CFT is established, using the general procedure of AdS/CFT correspondence, we see that the resultant two point function has the expected form for fermionic operators in nonrelativistic CFTs, though a nontrivial regularization may be needed. © 2009 The American Physical Society

Nanocomposites of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) containing varying amounts of Cu were formed by treatment with Cu2+ then reduced to Cu0 using NaBH4 as the reducing agent.
