In this paper, proper and safe planning of excavation method and design of support system in very weak rocks with case study of control room of Silveh dam are discussed. Silveh earth-storage dam, with 102 m height; is under construction in North-West of Iran. Magnetite nanoparticles with an average particle size of 28.8 nm were synthesized, coated with oleic acid, and characterized using various techniques such as DLS, FT-IR, SEM, XRD, VSM, and UV-Vis analysis. Abstract
TiO2 layers were grown via pulse type microarc oxidation process under different applied voltages, frequencies, and duty cycles. Surface chemical composition and phase structure of the synthesized layers were studied utilizing X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Furthermore, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and atomic force microscope (AFM) were employed to investigate surface morphology and topography of the layers. It was revealed that the layers had a porous structure with both anatase and rutile phases. Ground-coupled ejector cooling (GCEC) systems have been introduced to solve the air-coupled ejector cooling (ACEC) systems problems. To date, no research study is dedicated to compare the GCEC and the ACEC systems and determine the relative payback period of the GCEC system vs. the ACEC system. Abstract
Two-step sintering (TSS) was applied on nanocrystalline yttria tetragonal stabilized zirconia (3Y-TZP) to control the grain growth during the final stage of sintering. The process involves firing at a high temperature (T1) followed by rapid cooling to a lower temperature (T2) and soaking for a prolonged time (t). It is shown that for nanocrystalline 3Y-TZP (27 nm) the optimum processing condition is T1 = 1300 °C, T2 = 1150 °C and t = 30 h. Firing at T1 for 1 min yields 0.83 fractional density and renders pores unstable, leading to further densification at the lower temperature (T2) without remarkable grain growth. Abstract
In this thesis, chaotic behavior of a photonic micro-resonator is investigated. First, a Lagrangian formulation is introduced for the system. Then, by applying a multi-reflection method, a closed formula is obtained for the radiation pressure. Use of this equation in the coupled differential equations describing dynamics of the problem gives us a suitable model for exploring the behavior of the micro-resonator. Abstract
S-doped TiO2 layers were grown on titanium substrates by MAO process. SEM results revealed a porous morphology with a pore size of 40-100 nm. Our XRD analysis showed that the anatase relative content reached its maximum value at the voltage of 500 V. The existence of sulfur in the states of S 4+ and S6+ which substituted Ti4+ in the titania crystalline lattice was confirmed by XPS results; meanwhile, no S 2- was detected. That is, a cationic doping was observed. EDS results showed that sulfur concentration in the layers increased with the voltage. Abstract
We study a new contraction of a d+1 dimensional relativistic conformal algebra where n+1 directions remain unchanged. For n = 0,1 the resultant algebras admit infinite dimensional extension containing one and two copies of Virasoro algebra, respectively. For 1$">n>1 the obtained algebra is finite dimensional containing an so(2,n+1) subalgebra. The gravity dual is provided by taking a Newton-Cartan like limit of the Einstein's equations of AdS space which singles out an AdS n+2 spacetime. The infinite dimensional extension of n = 0,1 cases may be understood from the fact that the dual gravities contain AdS 2 and AdS 3 factor, respectively. Abstract
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems are so popular in aerial imaging because of their high resolution. Ground moving target indication (GMTI) is one of the most challenging problems in this field. The use of multiple antennas in transmit and receive is an innovative idea that can overcome the limitations of SAR systems. In this paper, after modelling the received signal and focusing it, we propose an algorithm for GMTI with the use of compressed sensing. The proposed algorithm has low complexity compared to similar algorithms. Simulation results show that this approach is accurate in estimation of positions and velocities of moving targets. © 2018 IEEE

Abstract
Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles were synthesized and coated with Oleic Acid using the co-precipitation method. The particles were characterized using DLS, FT-IR, SEM, XRD, VSM and UV-Vis spectrophotometry analysis. The mean size of particles was 28.8 nm and the FT-IR analysis indicated that Oleic Acid was coated suitably on the nanoparticles. The vsm test indicated no hysteresis loop for the particles, defining the superparamagnetism of them. A nanofluid containing nanoparticles in 5wt% Acetic Acid in Toluene as the base fliud was prepared. Sulfur doped TiO2 layers containing nano/micro-sized pores were synthesized by micro-arc oxidation process. Abstract
V2O5-TiO2 porous layers were synthesized via micro-arc oxidation for the first time. The effect of the applied voltage on morphology, composition, and photo-activity of the layers was investigated. The layers, which consisted of anatase, rutile, and vanadium pentoxide phases, revealed an enhanced photo-activity. About 93% of methylene blue solution was degraded on the synthesized layers after 120 min UV-irradiation with a reaction rate constant of k = 0.0228 min-1.
