    Abstract
Environmental Impacts Assessment has been developed as a critically substantial approach to determine, predict and interpret the ecological impact on the environment, public hygiene and healthy ecosystems. This study aims to introduce and systematically investigate the environmental issues during important decision-making stages. Meanwhile, impacts of development on the environmental components will be also analyzed. This research studies various methods of predicting the environmental changes and determining the impacts through both qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative approaches rely fully upon the expert's decisions, while quantitative ones are entirely based on mathematical...

Environmental impact assessment modeling in an urban man-made lake using fuzzy logic

    Abstract
Environmental impact assessment essentially depends on diverse closely connected components and variables. For this purpose, identification of the whole components is fundamentally required. This study aims to investigate environmental impact assessment of an urban man-made lake in the western part of Tehran, based on recognition of affecting components and their reciprocal effects. Since the components are not constant during the time, thus throughout the environmental impact assessment modeling study, dynamism of the relation between the components should be considered. Regarding insufficiency and uncertainty of information, an analytical method, based on expert's opinion can be applied....

P-Doped g-C3N4Nanosheet-Modified BiVO4Hybrid Nanostructure as an Efficient Visible Light-Driven Water Splitting Photoanode

    Abstract
Here, a solution combustion method was employed to construct a photoanode based on bismuth vanadate (BV) composition. To curtail the fast charge recombination, phosphorus-doped g-C3N4 nanosheets (PCNS) in combination with BV are considered a potential approach. The prepared solution combustion facilitated the formation of a BiVO4-PCNS (BV-PCNS) hybrid photoanode with worm-like morphology with a simple setup. The weight ratio of PCNS/BiVO4 and the loading volume/cm2 were optimized to determine the most efficient photoanode. The highest photocurrent density of 0.5 mA/cm2 at 1.23 V vs reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE) under 1 sun illumination was achieved for the hybrid nanostructure at 2 wt...
