Corporate entrepreneurship has been shown to have a positive effect on the long-term growth of family firms. Therefore, identifying the factors affecting the promotion of corporate entrepreneurship in successive generations of a family firm could be critical. Out of a variety of factors the focus of this research is on indenfying the successor's competencies, the methods of developing the competencies in the successor, and the predecessor's competencies for developing the successor.
