Abstract
This study is aimed to investigate the effect of Fe3O4 nanoparticles in liquid membrane efficiency, four liquid membrane was studied. Due to the unique properties of ionic liquids have been highly regarded. Hence in this project for both ionic liquid and conventional liquid permeability and selectivity has been investigated.
One of the most important features of the liquid membrane is the stability. Performance of cyclohexane liquid indicated that it is not useful for liquid membrane. To improve the stability of the membrane of cyclohexane ionic liquid membrane is used as shielding.
Permeability of O2 and CO2 in five partial pressure in the feed gas (20, 35, 50, 65 and 80%) liquid...

Abstract
Emission of aromatic and aliphatic compounds to atmosphere is a major environmental concern for many urban societies. Catalytic oxidation of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) is an efficient and low operating cost technology for reduction of air pollution.
First, dispersed copper oxide nano-catalysts supported on almond shell-based activated carbon were prepared for catalytic oxidation of toluene in air. The Response Surface Methodology (RSM) was used to express the catalyst removal efficiency in terms of catalyst metal loading and calcination temperature. Calcination temperature had a significant effect on the catalyst activity only at high metal loadings (upper 8% wt.). Two different...

Abstract
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) have become an important source of air pollution due to their extended use as solvents in many industrial processes. Aliphatic and aromatic VOC removal from contaminated air can be achieved by a variety of methods including catalytic oxidation, adsorption, and biological treatment. Catalytic oxidation is often the preferred process due to its low cost and high efficiency. Supported transition metal catalysts are effective and inexpensive catalysts for VOC removal from contaminated air. The objective of this project was to prepare low cost transition metal catalysts (Fe, Ni, Co, and Cu) supported on alumina for catalytic oxidation of cyclohexane (as a...
