Abstract
Red mud, one of the most important industrial wastes, is produced from the Bayer process during the production of alumina and called as wastes. Red mud is usually composed of iron oxides, titanium, aluminum, silisium, calcium, sodium and etc. the presented work is based on the components of red mud and their applications in the preparation of ceramics and its purpose is to recover the bauxite waste and to use it in the preparation of ceramic compounds as an inexpensive source of starting material.
