Studying Instances of Conflict of Interest in Some Job Positions in Iran’s Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education

Abstract
This study investigates and enumerates instances of conflict of interests in some job positions in Iran’s Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education. To achieve this goal, we interviewed people involved in the health field and reviewed job descriptions as well. By adopting the prevalent definition of conflict of interests regarding the duties, authorities, and responsibilities, instances of conflict of interests has been relatively identified in each position. Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find the conflicting assumptions of the main actors in the legislation process of Knowledge-based Act. Collecting and classifying all documents related to this policy process, and based on interviews with main actors involved in this process (with different objectives) and using thematic analysis, we first attempt to classify the main actors involved in the process. The Effect of Economic Sanctions on Income Inequality in Iran: A Synthetic Control Approach

Abstract
A large portion of the existing literature on the distributional effects of economic sanctions highlights their tendency to increase income inequality in the targeted countries. This study examines the impact of sanctions imposed on Iran in 2012 on income inequality in its subsequent years. To investigate this, it is necessary to estimate the counterfactual trajectory of income inequality in Iran in the absence of sanctions and compare it to the actual trend in the years following the sanctions.
