Implementation of Project Based Organizations Excellence Model in a Petrochemical Projects Contractor
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Fereydoon, Kianfar (Supervisor)
Abstract
According to a novel approach of National Petrochemical Company to deployment of quality concepts on petrochemical projects and effort to develop the excellence models & paragons in various fields like managing contractors of petrochemical project and plans, “Project Based Organizations Excellence Model” presented by Project Management Research and Development Center of National Petrochemical Company as a new pattern of performance improvement in this companies. Implementation of this model in organization also required many infrastructures as knowledge and wisdom, managerial concept, dynamic and process vision that appear gradually. The purpose of this thesis is the development and also...
Applying PFMEA in Vehicle Axle Manufacturing Company and Presenting an Effective Model
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Kianfar, Ferydoon (Supervisor)
Abstract
In this thesis we illustrated PFMEA in VAMCO to evaluate effectiveness of applying this standard in this company ,though the results showed better situation but they were not significant then we launch to study the reasons of this matter and to help our survey we used other companies' knowledge via questionnaires and interviews,. After collection of data our conclusion proved that there were both problems in context and application. For solving these problems we investigated about experience of international esteemed companies and finally we decided to apply a new model in form of a software. For designing algorithm of this software we deeply focused on problems and use the recent...
Removal of Radioactive Elements from Liquid Waste of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant with Resin
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Samadfam, Mohammad (Supervisor) ; Sepehrian, Hamid (Supervisor) ; Fasihi, Javad ($item.subfieldsMap.e)
Abstract
In this study, granular activated carbon has been modified by potassium nickel hexacyanoferrate ( KNCF), sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) and ammonium per sulfate(APS) as new adsorbents for cesium, cobalt and chromium(VI), respectively. The prepared adsorbents were characterized using powder X-ray diffraction(XRD), nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm data, infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy(SEM-EDS) and their adsorption performance were investigated. The effect of various parameters like the initial pH value of the solution, contact time, temperature, strength ionic of the solution, interference ions and the initial concentration of...
Optimization and Modification of the Nanostructures Adsorbent for Reduction voc in Flue Gas (Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, Ethyl Benzene)
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Sayf Kordi, Ali Akbar (Supervisor) ; Mahdyarfar, Mohammad (Supervisor) ; Tasharrofi, Saiedeh ($item.subfieldsMap.e)
Abstract
In this study, In order to reduce volatile organic component (benzene, toluene, xylene and ethyl benzene) some appropriate nanostructures were used. First the appropriate nano structures were identified, then modified and optimized and finally characterized by XRD, SEM, ASAP. Appropriate nano adsorbent such as nano active carbon, single wall and multi wall nano carbon tubs , nano fiber carbon, graphene oxide, aluminum oxide particles, nano-zinc oxide , titanium oxide particles, 13x zeolite and extruded nano carbon tubes, were prepared and optimized, than evaluated from perspective of the crystal structure, surface area and porosity. nano active carbon, single wall and multi wall nano carbon...
Improving Logistics and Supply Chain Management in The Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industries
, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology ; Akbari Jokar, Mohammad Reza (Supervisor)
Abstract
Logistics activities and matters related to supply chain management play an important role in the success of supply chain in today’s competitive business environment. The success of an organization depends on the proper functioning of the whole supply chain organization. SCOR model as a reference model for supply chain management is a suitable framework to manage all aspects of the supply chain and enables the creation of an appropriate and efficient structure in supply chains. In this thesis the Procurement department of a petrochemical company is examined and the current state of the supply chain is explained and then based on the SCOR model, in 4 areas: Performance (indices), Processes,...
