Air pollution is known as one of the most important problems of large cities. The main reason for such air pollution is the increase in using private vehicles. There are some solutions for controlling and reducing air pollution. One efficient way to achieve this goal is by imposing taxes on aspects of private vehicles. One of the main issues of industrialization and growth in population nowadays is pollution and particularly air pollution emitted by personal vehicles, which could have global effects threatening life on earth. The ever-growing increase in air pollution to the point of being on the verge of irreversibly endangering the planet, has incentivised the governments to invest into finding ways and solutions to control and then decrease the man-made pollution. The purpose of this study is to model the long-term effects of taxes on different aspects of private cars upon auto ownership and use, and thereby auto industries in producing more fit cars, so as to minimize auto emission. It involves used car market, different car demands and auto industry production. The study follows some previous studies in this area and tries to enhance the various aspects of the model by directing it toward a more real situation.
