- According to authorities and statistical figures, Iran is seriously facing insufficient housing crisis. Studies show that through an increase of 1.5 million units in annual housing construction capacity, this crisis will be overcome in 5 years. Although successful execution of such a big project is not unprecedented in the world, housing experts believe fulfillment of this plan through traditional method of construction in the country is impossible. The country's capacity of industrialized construction which is known as the remedy, is only limited to 2-3% of total construction. Thus development of this approach through financial, legal, ... supports of investment in prefabrication plants has been given priority by the government. One of the most applicable and economical methods of industrialization in construction is the use of precast concrete structural components. This thesis studies technical and economical feasibility of a modern complete precast plant implementation. ln addition to study the reasons of the country's nessesity to industrialization in construction, advantages, history, types and hinders to this approach, this thesis shows that under the conditions stipulated in the text, a modern complete precast plant can be constructed through a 26 million Euro investment. This plant has the capacity to produce 320000 square meters residential buildings annually. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of the project is 23.39% and since it is greater that the Minumum Attractive Rate of Return (MARR) which equals to 16%, the project is economilly feasible. With this MARR, Net Present Value of the project will be about II millions Euros.
