  7. Abstract:
  8. An RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) device consists of a small and inexpensive microchip attached to an antenna. The chip can be very small and some RFID tags are thin enough to be embedded in paper. RFID are heavily used to track items in production environments and to label items in supermarkets, Hospital, Factory, License plate, Cattle….They are usually thought of as an advanced barcode. However, in this project we argue about RFID license plate and using RFID tags for recognize vehicle from distance. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags has many applications in modern automatic and intelligent identification systems. Vehicles outfitted by RFID tags as License Plates, can be identified, located and tracked all the time in an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). In this project we have considered the benefits of RFID License Plate and the corresponding issues and challenges in this field such as tag type, price, installation, maintenance and working range. We peruse about RFID problem in license plate like obstruction, pass loss… and we have suggested proposal algorithm for reading procedure without collision and some proposal method to improve the license plate performance.
