  7. Abstract:
  8. In today’s competitive world، web services have become more and more prevalent and their efficient discovery and composition in order to create novel functionalities is essential for variety of applications. Due to the large number of available services، the discovery of services is a difficult and time consuming task. Existing approaches in web services discovery and composition attempt to use simple web services while ignoring the use of once composed services. Reusing frequently used composite services can considerably increase performance of the entire system. Moreover، the advent of semantic web، as an effective solution of representing information interpretable by machines and none human agents، made a great revolution in web technology. In fact، Semantic web services try to dominate the limitations and constraits of web services. Some recent works have focused of both discovery and composition of services but little attention has been paid to extracting patterns of using composite services frequently. In this research، a graph based architecture for discovering and composing owl-s semantic web services (SWSs) is proposed. Using this architecture، reuse of composite web services will be improved in a way that no decrease in discovery phase happens. The framework، then is evaluated through some tests by an open source tool developed using Owl-mx as its core engine.
