  8. To actualize and making the outputs of a project effectual, it is necessary to conduct an effective management during a project. This case may not be possible without accurately planning for activities, management and controlling all phases of a project ignoring the risk management of that project. If risks of a project cannot be detected before conducting a project, it is possible to challenge the performance and even effectiveness of the project. In current conditions, the most important problem of managers and executives of construction projects through the country is risk management of projects, not acknowledging with definitions of risk, models of risk management and lack of a model for managing the risks. In this thesis, there has been dealt with how know and categorize risks in the process for projects’ risk management in the project-based organizations. The main objective of this study is designing a suitable risk breakdown structure for project-based organizations. The risk breakdown structure, indeed, is the main basis of organizations to deal with projects’ risks. As an organization, designing an organizational structure with its activities required to take action to organize its activities during the organizational life; thus organizations required to design a risk breakdown structure proportional with their activities and projects. In the framework of its risk breakdown structure, organizations, indeed, take action to know all potential risks influencing its activities. This structure is able to help organization dealing with project's risks and launching the projects’ risk management
