- Abstract:
- In the first part of this thesis, limitations on magnetic field distribution are studied. After that methods of creating high gradient magnetic field and limitations on it is discussed. In the second part, magnetic properties of materials and the effect of particle shape and size on these properties are studied. In this part a comprehensive analysis on demagnetizing field inside magnetic bodies is also conducted and its dependence on material susceptibility and shape is discussed. At the end of this part the effect of particle shape and size on its hysteresis loop is demonstrated theoretically, practically and by computer simulation. In order to obtain the hysteresis loop in this part and analyzing the effect of particle shape on it, a circuit was designed and built. The important result obtained from this part of the thesis is that shrinking a dimension of a particle which we are measuring its hysteresis loop along it, will make the hysteresis loop longer (increase ). In the last part a comprehensive study on a solenoid and the effect of its shape and size on its DC, AC and energy behavior is conducted. In this part a simple solenoid is created in CST software and shape, size and core variations that should be considered is applied to it. Many curves are drawn in this part that contains important results
