- Abstract:
- Investigation about Hydraulic Fracturing phenomenon in fractured porous medium which was occurred by in-situ fracture pressure upon the crack wings, owes the fact that creating enormous damages. However, it might include advantages such as increasing the rate of crude oil production from deep and high pressure/ high temperature reservoirs. On account of the fact that, existence of cracks and natural discontinuities and heat sources such as boundary of geo thermal reservoirs in porous mediums it is undeniable fact. Also, cross sectioning hydraulic fracturing cracks with natural cracks it is an obvious impact. Actually, investigation and analyzing the break throw of HF crack with natural cracks in fractured rocks in these sorts of mediums is staggeringly important. On the other hand, to thermodynamically analysis the saturated fractured porous medium it should be considered that drive the suitable equations in the case of isotropic two phase porous medium which was case sensitive to time and pressure coordinate is the primary step of this problem solution. However, in this case the extended finite element method it has been chosen as the well suited solution equations. Although, by consideration on the existence of natural cracks and hydraulic fracturing operation both in medium in should be mentioned that the modeling of flowing fluid inside of crack, fracturing propagation method and pattern and also interaction of the 2wings of the cracks which they were sensitive of crack frictions and cohesions.First results in the work was, derived the equations for the isotropic two phase porous medium. After that, the principles of fracture mechanics of the different fracture propagation methods had been considered. Second, frictional and cohesion contacts and the method of numerically analyzing the process had been carefully focused. By using the extended finite element method for isotropic fracture porous medium, the matrix and the extended amount of the parameters will be appeal even in the case of the time. Finally, some examples are introduced to show the results of using the method of solving in the isotropic two phase fractured medium. And also, comparison of this method to verified the numerical results and process with some experimental samples
