  7. Abstract:
  8. In recent years, there has been a trend toward outsourcing data to the cloud provider. These companies must tackle the data security challenges. Generally these parties are assumed to be honest but curious. In past years, the research communities have been investigating different solution to ensure confidentiality.
In addition to data confidentiality access and pattern confidentiality is a high-priority issue in some cases so. potential adversary should be unable to drive information from the observed access pattern to the outsourced data. Despite the fact that there are more investigation in the field of data confidentiality, concern over data security are the rise in outsourcing data, causing many efforts in this problem. Researches focus on developing technological solution for ensuring access privacy.
In this thesis, we will provide a general background on access pattern confidentiality and also we will discuss some progress toward this issue. Then, we describe a new pattern attack that can harm the security of recent proposed methods. We present a novel and optimized approach for protection of access and pattern confidentiality. We will introduce a new version of B+Tree data structure in which the capacity of each buckets is more than one data block. Also, we will develop a new technique, "cover search with least common ancestor" that makes a special fake query. Finally, we will evaluate our proposed method by some numerical experiments, and show that it is an effective and practical algorithm. Finally we will analyses the proposed algorithm
