  7. Abstract:
  8. Propylene Copolymers and terpolymers with small amount of 1-butene& ethylene can greatly improve the properties of polypropylene material such as low temperature toughness, printing performance, transparency, process ability and so on, leading to expanding of its application. Poly(propylene-co-1-butene) performance intensely relies on its composition and chain structure. The copolymerization catalyzed by Ziegler-Natta catalyst, which is a multy-active central system. The Ziegler-Natta catalyst TiCl4/ Mg(OEt)2/ DIBP was used for copolymerization. The microstructure of copolymers were characterized by FTIR. The influence of different comonomer ratios on the copolymerization has been investigated. It was found that catalytic efficiency was higher than homopolymerization and increased along with 1-butene mol% in the feed, gradually maximized and the dropped. As 1-butene mol% in the feed increased the content of 1-butene in the poly(propylene-co-1-butene) was heightened. Thermal properties of samples were investigated by DSC. As 1-butene mol% in the feed increased, melting temperature, crystallization temperature and crystallity had been decreased. MFI results indicate the reduction of molecular weight with the increase of 1-butene in the feed. The influence of nano grapheme oxide on morphology and rheological properties was investigated. SEM images showed the well dispersion of nano particles in the copolymer matrix. Linear viscoelastic parameters such as storage modulus, loss modulus, complex viscosity had been increased with the introduction of 1-butene in the copolymerization
