- Abstract:
- Oil is being discussed as the main source of producing energy in the world. Thus its exploration and exploitation from the sea or land is very important. Most of these resources exist in the depths of the sea. Exploitation of these resources demands to reach knowledge of design and technology of manufacturing platforms and devices for exploitation in the deep waters. There are massive oil reserves in the context of deep waters. Using fixed platforms in depth is very uneconomic; also we know the natural period of these structures is close to the wave period in deep waters. As a result researches and mining industry in the deep waters have gone to use comparative platforms such as: TBT, TLP, ALP and etc. Among these platforms Spar is the latest platform which is using for exploitation from deep waters. The main idea of Spar is creating a simple structure with natural period so far from ocean wave amplitude, to reduce the dynamic response of the structures. It should be noted Spar is a floating platform, competitive for oil and Gas exploitation in the deep and deeper waters. In this project Spar platform behavior will be studied. After reviewing the numeric pad of platform in the Mezzo software and analysis dynamic platform, modeling experimental platform was done. In experimental modeling Spar platform made a pillar cell and then testing. After doing test Spar platform cell made a classic Spar platform with the similar parameters as the Spar cell platform, and will test for observing square of the pillar part behavior and advantage of celling platform with classic Spar platform. Also the numeric results will be verification. As the challenges of this project we can consider modeling rein lines due to the shallow pond. To solving this problem Taut rein is used. In the present project we have tried to take a step in localization knowledge of manufacturing deep water platforms and ability to testing platforms with available facilities
