  8. In my Thesis we are going to explain Large Scale Weak Lensing observations by weak field approximation of non-local modified gravity. We try to explain the weak lensing of galaxy clusters after collision without any need to dark matter, which could be an important test of the modified gravity model.One of the important questions of modern cosmology is the nature of dark matter,the concept which was created to explain what ordinary baryonic matter can’t explain.However, one alternative way is to modify Einstein’s General Relativity. One of the main pillars of General Relativity is the locality assumption. Non-local gravity puts aside this assumption. The Newtonian limit of this theory is consistent with observations, for example this theory can successfully explain the rotation curves of galaxies by baryonic matter. Bullet cluster is another important evidence of dark matter. In order to study whether we can explain the Bullet cluster lensing map by non-local gravity, we first derived the weak lensing formalism in non-local gravity theory. Then by using baryonic matter distribution and surface density of Bullet cluster, we reconstructed the weak lensing map. Comparing the results with observational data, we showed that, non-local gravity can not explain the Bullet cluster.The reason is that the effective dark matter follows the baryonic matter and so the center of effective dark matter in non-local gravity does not coincides with the center of weak lensing observed data
