  7. Abstract:
  8. In various industries, for energy production, fossil fuels are burned. Oxygen needed for combustion, taken directly from the ambient air; So that the inert gas is about 80%. The presence of this inert gas, mainly nitrogen, reduce combustion efficiency and increase the use of combustible material. In this project with the help of membrane technology, was used to remove the amount of nitrogen in the air so that the incoming air into the combustion chamber is enriched with oxygen. For this purpose, several gas separation membrane was applied and evaluated. Then, according to the oxygen enrichment, fuel efficiency and the amount of savings, increasing chamber temperature, reduction manufacturing cost and volume of the combustion chamber and reduction of NOx productions were studied. It was observed that the use of membrane polydimethylsiloxane, flow rate triacetate membrane product of about 1.5 times and more than 2 times sulfone membrane is made of cellulose triacetate membrane In contrast with the purity of the product than the product membrane made of dimethyl improved about 1% siloxane and poly-sulfone membrane product with a purity of more than 6% compared to the membrane, polydimethylsiloxane offer. As a result, poly-sulfone membranes for applications with low air consumption and for wide range of applications, poly-sulfone membrane is recommended
