  8. The increasing significance and deployment of knowledge management(KM) is the main reason for selecting the topic of this research. This research tries to analyse the dimensions and KM implementation methods in press section of maintenance department in Saipa company. This study has a qualitative approach and the method is based on a case study. Data has been collected by questionnaires. Two questionnares have been provided in this research and distributed among different staff of press section in maintenance department. The concept of knowledge management maturity is applied and the goal of first questionnaire is based on this concept. The level of KM maturity is assessed via this questionnaire. The second questionnaire is based on the results of the first questionnaire. It’s goal is to recognize and remove the obstacles and limitations which are in the way of KM implementation.Analysis of the first questionnaire showed that press section of maintenance department is in the first level of KM maturity (possible). By analyzing the results of the second questionnaire we found the most important obstacles in KM implementation and we have taken the first steps for removing them. The most important obstacle is related to knowledge providers; ie people who create knowledge are not eagor to share their knowledge. Other obstacles have been described in other sections of the research and we have proposed some solutions to remove the obstacles
