Abstract:
In this thesis, we study some features and constructions methods for the Petersen and the Coxeter graphs. We survey some properties of these graphs which are based on graph theory, combinatorics, algebra or geometry. From a combinatorial point of view, two new constructions are proposed for the Petersen graph. We also propose two new construction methods for the Coxeter graph called Cylindrical-voltage construction and Block construction, inspired by the methods proposed for the Petersen graph
