- Lateral Flow Immunoassay kits are one of the most important instrument in laboratories and houses for diagnosing diseases, hormones, food toxins and etc. fast, exactly and by low cost. Since one of the most expensive parts in the mentioned kits, is using antibodies in their construction, an attempt has been made in this project for descending usage of antibody and consequently final cost of these sensors besides keeping desired and necessary sensitivity of these diagnostic kits. For this purpose, first of all with the help of simulating flow’s behavior in Lattice-Boltzmann method, provisions has been made to predicting flow’s movement behavior in Nitrocellulose membrane, Based on its results kits have been made for diagnosing pregnancy hormone (human gonadotropin) in experimental scale. In this regard, variant parameters which are involved in kits operation have been reviewed, first, porosity and Permeability effects has been checked, and then the kits were tested in terms of their positive or negative response, in the following by examining the flow through the Nitrocellulose membrane, it was found the proper spot for antibody and antigen conjugation is the tail-end of it, then the effects of film width on conjugation quality has been studied and discovered that as much as the membrane getting thinner, the sensitivity of membrane getting higher level, so that by decreasing 45 percent of film width, the quality of diagnostician improved about 9 percent and at the end based on the information and data have been collected in previous stages, modified geometries have been tested that showing us a geometry getting narrow in beginning of the membrane can be the best devise for this purpose in which, by slenderize the membrane width about 10 percent, the clarity of diagnostician line, improving 7 percent
