  8. In the this study, a numerical simulation of two-dimensional incompressible sloshing flow in a rectangular tank with baffle(s), using Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) is presented. Finite difference LBM and two-phase "Lee" model were used. The potential form of intermolecular forces is utilized to guarantee the stability of the numerical scheme and the discretization of the solution domain is performed by a two dimensional structured grid. Two different distribution functions are applied to obtain pressure, momentum, and composition of the particles. Furthermore, the Boltzmann transport equation is discretized, by using standard D2Q9 method. The "dropl" test case is simulated by the present algorithm and the numerical results are compared with the analytical solution. By changing acceleration, density and viscosity, and the force on the right wall of the tank were calculated as functions of time for different cases (no baffle, one baffle, and two baffles). The numerical results show that increasing acceleration, density ratio, and viscosity ratio, leads to significant increase in the right wall-force. This effect can damage the structure of tank and should be take care of by adding baffles to the wall
