  7. Abstract:
  8. PRP is a combination of two classic problems. First one is the lot-sizing and the second one is vehicle’s routing which have been studied for more than fifty years. The prp is solved in attempt to jointly optimize production, inventory, distribution, routing decision and as a result, it is a inventory-routing problem as a whole. Despite the fact that prp involves a complex instructor, both universities and industries have been so eager to this problem since last decade. In this thesis an integrated assessment of PRP and various technics for solving the problem have been discussed. Moreover, taking into account the structure, hypothesis, and the constraints of the problem, a routing-inventory-production model according to revers flow of the products, under the multiple uncertainty conditions has been presented. For this purpose, robust optimization approach in order to face to the uncertainty has been suggested. In this study, a mixed integer planning has been developed in order to decrease the system’s total cost, the decision related to set up the production/reproduction, costumers’ visiting or not visiting, supplier inventory management, retail inventory management under VMI policy, the number of goods without defects that delivered and also the number of defective goods withdrawn from the costumers. Finally, vehicles’ routing will be planned in each cycle. According to this fact that the problem is NP-HARD type and in order to evaluation of different algorithm function in suggested model, two meta-heuristic genetic algorithm and Simulated Annealing have been developed. Finally, the efficiency of proposed algorithms is investigated
