- Abstract:
- Nowadays, the modern manufacturing dramatically has changed due to the intense global competition and the globalization of economics, resources, and rapid progress in manufacturing systems, information, computer and information management. Cloud manufacturing systems are a new network-based manufacturing paradigm which by utilizing cloud computing and service generation enables technologies to transfer manufacturing resources into manufacturing services. Moreover, recent researches have shown that security, reliability, and quality are enhanced by cloud computing systems. In cloud manufacturing systems, resources that are located in different geographic points enable the distribution of sources of productes and services which are introduced by suppliers as cloud resources. Then, customers use these resources based on their demand. Since there is the distribution of resources at suppliers at various points of our supply network and the geographical distance between them is so much, the vehicle routing problem should be considered. On the other hand, one of the most important factors in the implementation of supply network management is to provide control over the physical flow of the supply networks. Considering the importance of this issue, applying of cross-docking is one of the best approaches which is a good idea to reduce inventory and increase the level of responsiveness to the demands of customers. In this research, we have tried to develpod linear mathematical programming model with considering the vehicle routing problem (VRP), optimal loading and unloading policy for vehicles, and the arrangement of proper enterance and exit to cross dock with the aim of minimizing the costs of loading and unloading productes. Also the cost of waiting for any vehicle is considered. The cross dock is the joint point for vehicles, the crossover warehouse is an outlet for vehicles, in which operations of loading and unloading vehicles are performed. Afterwards, vehicles will be sent according to the needs of destinations depending on the capacity of existing vehicles and the demand of the customers of the productes in the defined destinations. Due to the complexity of the proposed model, a small size problem with was solved by the exact algorithm in GAMS software, and the optimal solution for the small size problem was verified. In order to validate the model on the parameters of the unloading and loading cost simultaneously and separately, as well as the waiting cost for vehicles, the sensitivity analysis was carried out and the model's ability to show that in each case, with increasing and decreasing the cost parameters of the vehicles, the different policy for unloading and loading have been considered. Furthermore, the order of entrance and exit of vehicles has changed, and the model has also illustrated that each vehicle has the shortest stay time in the cross dock, and according to providing the need of supplies, no products are left in the cross dock
