  7. Abstract:
  8. In order to adjust the electrons beam in microwave lamps, an accurate electromagnetic field that is produced by a solenoid is required. The precision of the magnetic field generated by this solenoid is very important, and in advanced systems this precision is less than 10 ppm. This system is used to adjust the radiation rate for producing a variety of radiopharmaceutical. The major problem of the system is that the electron beam changes by time due to a change in the magnetic field, and this event causes the operator's room to be radiated. Constant calibration of this system is also very demanding and impractical. An example of these highly accurate (several ppm) systems are used in the companies produce medical accelerators. In order to achieve this precision, useing temperature stabilizers are common to reduce the error of current measurement. A different category of work on the controller and the reduction of the component error on the current setting has been done. The important issue is the long-term stability of this current, it means that the current should be accurate in long time interval. It is necessary that the current becomes variable to adjust the electron beam. In this project, the reasons of power supply instability are found and, after investigating them more profoundly, we propose solutions for each one, and finally, it is shown with experimental result that the most important parameter for reducing and eliminating the instability of the current is temperature
