- Abstract:
- The present study simulates the diffusion of nitrogen oxides from a typical thermal power plant by AERMOD. The amount of diffusion of nitrogen oxides in the environment in two sample days was assessed, one in the cold season and the other in the warm season. In the pessimistic state of the power plant on the sample day of the warm season did not cause the ambient concentration to exceed the standard level of clean air.In order to evaluate the share of different emission sources in the study area, emission sources are divided into three groups: industrial, suburban transportation and urban resources (domestic and intra-city transportation) and two modes of emission are considered. On the sample day of the cold season and the first mode of emission (the second mode of emission).Areas where the concentration of pollutants in the environment is higher than the standard concentration of clean air in Iran, due to all sources, suburban transportation, urban resources (domestic and intra-urban transportation), industry and synergy are 238.56 (29), 66.20 (zero), 100.92 (14.16), 2.72 and 68.72 (12.12) square kilometers. These values for the sample day of the warm season are 494.04 (16.04), 176.76 (zero), 166.20 (zero), 13.20 and 137.88 (2.84) square kilometers, respectively. The results show that the share of industrial resources group is less than other sectors, the area affected by suburban transportation is limited to its surroundings and urban resources (domestic and intra-city transportation) can have the greatest effect
