- Abstract:
- In today’s highly competitive world, the countries with strong economies are able to produce their products at a lower price, better quality and at the right time in the market, therefore, in the performance evaluation of economic of the organizations and project management, several factors are involved; the most important are: time, price, and product quality. In this dissertation, a new method for performance evaluation in the field of project management based on combining the concept of the golden triangle of the project and the techniques available in decision science is presented. At first, three major areas of the golden triangle namely time, cost, and quality are selected for evaluation. Then, in the next step, strategies, and indicators based on the dimensions of the balanced scorecard method are extracted and introduced to evaluate the project's performance. In addition to the balanced scorecard, experts use the analysis hierarchy process decision-making technique to weight the indicators to determine the weight and importance of each measure. After weighing the indicators, weighing the five phases of the project has been analyzed. For this purpose, TOPSIS decision making technique is used, which is not only able to involve expert opinions in weighting the phases of the project, but also by linking this method with the AHP technique, a comprehensive performance evaluation method for project evaluation by the concept of the golden triangle is also presented. Finally, by using the experts’ opinions of a real case study, the weighting of the indicators and the importance of the project's phases are obtained, and the computational results show that the financial indicators are more important than other measures, and the planning phase compared with the other stages of the project is the most important stage.
