- Abstract:
- In applications related to measuring and directing the emotions of an individual or a group of people to the desired state (such as monitoring the driver's condition while driving, as an individual, or suppressing inflammation around the financial markets, as a set of individuals), due to the variety of environmental conditions, in each new application, the tools used to detect emotions, or the controllers and stimuli used to steer the situation to the desired state, need to be adapted to the specific conditions of that application or to design again from the beginning. In this study, by designing and performing an experiment on 13 people, by looking at the individual (or group of people in general) as a dynamic system, on the one hand, using an open-source neural network, we have described the emotional state of the system in a two-dimensional emotional space(valence-arousal), and on the other hand, we have used visual and musical stimuli, which the amount of emotional load of each in the mentioned space is specified, to guide the user to a desired emotional point. Finally, by analyzing the data from the experiment, we have tried to bring the label of stimuli and neural network output to the same scale, examine the effect of each type of stimulus on changing the user's valence and arousal, and also identify the appropriate stimuli
