- Abstract:
- The purpose of this study is to prepare platinum nanoparticles catalysts whitch can be used to C-H activation processes. In order to increase platinum salt catalytic activity, by converting it into a catalyst with characteristics of having recovery cycles, convenient separation and environmental friendliness and being in nano size. Consequently, platinum nano particles were grafted on modified graphene oxides. Catalysts structures were verified by scanning electron microscope, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and energy dispersive spectroscopy. Subsequently catalytic activity was examined for C(sp3)-H activation reaction with 3 amines and C-C bond formation. A third strategy for cross-dehydrogenative coupling reaction was reported via platinum-catalyzed C(sp3)-H and C(sp3)-H coupling reaction in the absence an oxidant. Nitroalkanes as well as dialkyl malonate derivatives are active participants in this coupling reaction. The results of this project include the provision of four-time recovery, an efficiency of 85% in oxidative reaction, reduce platinum metal loss of catalyst salt by loading on catalytic supports, a convenient separation by filtration or precipitation and nano catalytic feature dispersion in water solvent that would be environmentally friendly.
