According to the goals of new generation of wireless communication networks, which include increasing data transfer speed, reducing latency, optimizing power consumption, and increasing the quality of communication, the use of intelligent surfaces to change and control the wireless transmission environment to achieve the goals of new wireless networks has emerged as an effective solution. Finding the location of a user connected to a wireless network for issues like navigation or traffic control has also long been under consideration, and a variety of business systems have been introduced for positioning. Given that the accuracy and speed of finding the user's position is one of the principles of positioning systems, so the use of new technologies to achieve these goals has always been consideration. In this project, due to this need, we examine the localization in wireless networks in the presence of Intelligent surfaces. At first, we introduce the system model in which we want to find the user's position and we introduce the characteristics of the elements and the channel between each elements. In the following, we will introduce a method that can separate the different paths between the transmitter and the receiver by controlling the intelligent surfaces and estimate the user's location using the obtained information. By specifying the general positioning method, we try to add disturbances that may exist in the real environment to the presented model and check the performance of the positioning method
