  8. Entrepreneurial activities have always been considered and investigated due to the economic and social effects they have on societies. In research, in addition to the effects of entrepreneurship at the country level, attention has also been paid to its outputs for entrepreneurs. Since people choose this path according to their goals, values , and personal criteria, it is important and necessary to study people and examine the effects of this activity on them. Well-being is one of the concepts that has been considered in this regard. Well-being in general means experiencing positive emotions, avoiding negative ones, and evaluating life positively. Therefore, well-being is one of the things that people choose their career path to increase. One of the rules that guide people in life and is used as a tool to evaluate different situations are individual values. According to the theory of basic human values, there are four basic values that are the guiding principles of people in life. In the literature, attention has been paid to well-being as an output of entrepreneurial activities, but the mechanism of its influence has not been well investigated, and especially the role of values has not been considered in this direction. In this research, in addition to examining the effect of entrepreneurial activities on the well-being of entrepreneurs, the effect mechanism has also been studied. One of the fundamental values of humans is the value of openness to change, which represents people's interest in doing new and different things, having new ideas and creativity, making decisions independently and being free, having a good time, and doing favorite things, having an exciting life, having the inclination of taking risks and finally enjoying life and hunting opportunities for fun. Therefore, due to the alignment of this value with entrepreneurial activity and also its evaluative role in having a good life and experiencing positive emotions, the value of openness to change has been chosen as a mediator of the relationship between entrepreneurship and well-being. Considering the data of 1354 entrepreneurs from about 30 different countries, the relationships between these variables have been examined, and the results show that entrepreneurial activities have a positive effect on increasing people's well-being, and the value of openness to change partially mediates this relationship.
