  7. Abstract:
  8. Many pieces of evidence of climate change show that humanity should be concerned about the future of its life and the planet. The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has reached its highest level. Therefore, in recent years, the reduction of publications and climate issues has been on the agenda of governments. For this reason, governments and various international organizations are looking for a way to change and reform the global energy system. Forecasts indicate a decrease in the share of fossil fuels and an increase in the percentage of renewable energies and hydrogen. Hydrogen has been introduced as the future fuel carrier due to its many advantages such as the availability and variety of production sources, its storage and transportation methods, followed by different countries with their roadmaps and strategies. have been published in line with the development and promotion of this industry. This research discusses hydrogen, its production, storage, and transfer methods, and the cost related to each of these technologies and methods. After that, selected countries and regions to study and compare their desired plans, policies, and roadmaps, considering the level of progress or the fact that they are newcomers to this industry and the similarity of their geographical and geopolitical location. were identified with Iran. For this purpose, at first, the global situation and approach of the hydrogen industry, and then the European Union and Japan as the pioneers and the member countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council as the newcomers in this industry and the similarity of the geographical and geopolitical position with Iran have been studied. The purpose of these studies is to identify suitable methods of hydrogen production and transportation in Iran, outline the perspective and suggested priorities for the development of this industry in the country, opportunities and potentials in this industry in the country, and identify and rank Classification of effective criteria on the development of the hydrogen industry in the country using the distribution of questionnaires and the DANP method, which is one of the decision-making methods and presenting policy strategies. After the investigations, it is suggested to produce and export hydrogen in the first stage and then use it publicly in the country. The proposed perspective in this research is the collection and appropriate use of excess or side-produced hydrogen in various industries and units in the country and increasing the efficiency of these units in the short term, producing blue hydrogen and expanding the hydrogen market in the country. The duration and development of the green hydrogen industry and its use in the country are generally long-term
