  7. Abstract:
  8. Implant primary stability is a crucial component of implant survival. Primary mechanical stability is correlated with implant type, surgical technique, quantity and quality of bone at the recipient site. Since bone integration (BI) significance has been acknowledged, a variety of techniques have been developed to quicken BI and achieve faster fixation. Studies have shown that material type, and many surface properties, including as surface composition, roughness, topography, and energy, have a significant influence during the early stages of bone integration to the implant. In this work, we did synthesis one-dimensional nanoneedle-like arrays of hydroxyapatite using the injection method and then investigated the effect of surface topography and biodegradation rate on bone integrity using FESEM, WCA, ICP, and MTT tests. The findings revealed that 33% of the template holes were filled. The hydrophilicity of the surface increased as a result of increasing the surface area. This demonstrated appropriate cell adhesion. also, high biocompatibility of the sample was demonstrated by the MG-63 cells' high viability of 93%. On the other hand, the quick biodegradation of the nanoarrays in contact with biological fluid in the time periods of 1 to 14 days, with the favorably growing calcium phosphate compounds on the surface, did not demonstrate any toxicity, which may have offered a great idea for more research on bone integration
