  7. Abstract:
  8. In this research, the effect of changing the synthesis parameter of the anion with the central metal, the effect of different hydrothermal and reflux synthesis methods, as well as the effect of reaction time on the properties of the Metal-Organic framework (such as morphology, crystallinity, pore size and volume) of ZnPMA (PMA: 1, 2, 4, 5-benzenetetra carboxylic acid) was investigated. for this purpose, firstly the desired Metal-Organic Frameworks were prepared by interacting the 1, 2, 4, 5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid linker with the metal ion Zn2+ obtained from the metal salts Zn(OAC)2, ZnCl2, Zn(NO3)2 and ZnSO4 under reflux and hydrothermal conditions. also to investigate the effect of reaction time, the Metal-Organic Framework ZnPMA through the interaction of 1, 2, 4, 5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid linker with Zn2+ metal ion was obtained from Zn(OAC)2 metal salt under hydrothermal and reflux conditions during 12 and 24 hours. In order to characterize and confirm the successful synthesis of the desired metal-organic frameworks, various devices such as x-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (IR), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), porosity measurement (BET) and energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS) were used and the effect of the mentioned parameters on the properties of synthetic compounds was studied. The conducted researches show that by adjusting and modifying the synthesis method and changing the synthetic conditions of Metal-Organic Frameworks the crystallinity, porosity, morphology, stability and other properties of these compounds can be controlled. The intention of this research is the effect of changing the synthetic parameter of the anion with the metal center, the effect of various hydrothermal and reflux synthetic methods, as well as the effect of the reaction time on the properties of the Metal-Organic Framework ZnPMA
