- Abstract:
- Nanoparticles and nanomaterials in cancer therapy as well as in all biomedical applications have been heavily investigated over the last decade. In this manner, green synthesized nanomaterials have been vastly considered as promising, cost effective, and environmentally friendly components. Also, green synthesis methods could reduce cytotoxicity as well as increase the biocompatibility of the final products. In this chapter, the role of nanomaterials obtained from biowaste specifically for cancer therapy is discussed. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved
