  7. Abstract:
  8. The problem of evil is one of the oldest and most significant philosophical and religious challenges, examining the relationship between the existence of evils in the world and their impact on the belief in an omnipotent, omniscient, and wholly good God. The fundamental question in this issue is: if God is omnipotent, omniscient and wholly good God, why does He allow the existence of evil in the world? On the other hand, how can we reconcile the pain, suffering, and injustice caused by evils with the existence of God possessing these attributes? The problem of evil has been formulated in several frameworks, including the logical problem of evil, the evidential problem of evil, and the existential problem of evil. In response, various answers have been proposed, including traditional responses, theodicies, moral responses, and modern responses. In this paper, we will first introduce the types of evils to address the problems they create for religious faith. Then, we will outline the existing formulations of the problem of evil, and finally, we will present various responses, focusing on the response of this research, which is the examination of the problem of evil through the lens of reformed epistemology, a category of modern responses to this issue
