- Abstract:
- The main purpose of this study was to investigate the optimal use of digital tools and technologies for sustainability in Supply Chain Management (SCM). To achieve this, we examined various discussions, including economic, ecological, social, legal policy, value, and technological factors related to Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM). This thesis utilized a mixed-methods approach, incorporating qualitative analysis to identify and finalize the variables and measures of the research model through a systematic review of existing studies. The statistical analysis method employed SPSS software to examine relationships between variables, while structural equation modeling was conducted in the Smart-PLS environment, and artificial intelligence techniques were applied using MATLAB. The research population in this study can be found in three general groups: the first group includes experts working in High-Rise Building Constructors (Industry Experts), the second group includes professors in industrial management; IT management; Construction management and industrial engineering (Academic Experts), and the third group included E-SCM professionals & Construction Researchers (Industrial Experts). After the distribution of 100 data gathering tools, the sample size of this research is equal to 97 research experts. Data related to the indigenous data gathering tools of the research variables were mounted over spring 2024. One of the main results of the present study is that based on the factor loads of the model, the factor analysis between the research variables shows a favorable situation because the indicators of "life expectancy and education level of society" have more influence on the "Social Factors of SSCM", the indicators of "acceptance of innovations of IOT in construction and the adoption of AI in construction" have the most impact on the "Technological Factors of SSCM", While the "employment rates of educated persons and GDP rate" have the most impact on the "Economic Factors of SSCM", indicators of the waste recycling management and the intensity of energy consumption "have the most impact on the " Ecological Factors of SSCM ". On the other hand, the indicators of the "Tax Policies of the Government and International Political Relations" have the most impact on the "Legal Policy Factors of SSCM", and the indicators of "Customers' values and Managers' Values" have the most impact on the "Value Factors of SSCM" From the perspective of the sustainability of the supply chain of the construction industry based on the use of digital technologies, if; The performance of "Social factors of SSCM (I1)" is at the upper limit of the median, i.e. exactly 0.807; "Technological Factors SSCM(I2)" is at the upper middle limit, i.e. exactly 0.729; "Economic Factors SSCM (I3)" is in the mid-range limit, i.e. exactly 0.532; "Ecological Factors SSCM(I4)" is at the upper bound of the median, i.e. exactly 0.773; "Legal policy factors of SSCM (I5)" should be in the middle limit, that is, exactly 0.563, and "SSCM Moral Values Factors (I6)" should be in the upper middle limit, that is, exactly 0.734; then; with programming code [0.807; 0.729; 0.532; 0.773; 0.563; 0.734]. The performance of "Sustainability of the construction industry supply chain based on the use of digital technologies" is at the level of "very good (the fifth level of the 5-fold membership function)" which is exactly equal to 0.79 (79% of the optimality of the objective function)
