  4. Abstract:
  5. Demand Response (DR) is an impressive tool in smart power grids that can provide several technical and economic advantages for power system operator. DR aggregation can be performed by DR aggregator who is a commercial mediator on behalf of end use consumers to facilitate their access to the market while satisfying their preferences. Since the customer's preferences could affect the available DR directly, this paper aims to assess the impacts of DR aggregator's offering packages on DR potential. To this end, a day-ahead network-constrained market clearing model is presented so that both the generation units as well as DR aggregators could send their offers including their price-quantity pairs and technical limitations to the market operator. Afterward, the impacts of different items in the offered packages of DR aggregators are evaluated on DR potential through conducting several numerical studies on the IEEE-RTS. The obtained results indicate that the items in the offered package of DR aggregators could affect DR scheduling significantly. © 2024 IEEE
