Exact recovery of a sparse solution for an underdetermined system of linear equations implies full search among all possible subsets of the dictionary, which is computationally intractable, while ℓ1 minimization will do the job when a Restricted Isometry Property holds for the dictionary. Yet, practical sparse recovery algorithms may fail to recover the vector of coefficients even when the dictionary deviates from the RIP only slightly. A density functional study of strong local magnetism creation on MoS 2 nanoribbon by sulfur vacancy

Abstract
In this study a low-width MoS2 ribbon has been used for probing the electronic structure and local magnetic moment near vacancies. A theoretical study with the full-potential Density Functional Theory (DFT) approach (Wien2K code) have shown that when the dimension of MoS2 is reduced from 2-D to 1-D the nonmagnetic semi-conductor MoS2 becomes a magnetic conductor. Our study has shown that a vacancy on the S-edge with 50% coverage intensifies the magnetization of the edge of the MoS2 nanoribbon but such a vacancy on S-edge with 100% coverage causes this magnetic property to disappear. Jahn-Teller Effect in Diamond Vacancy Under Stress

Abstract
Electron states of diamond vacancy under stress were studied theoretically. The generalized Hubbard model is used to calculate the electrons energy levels. The results shows that the degeneracy of some levels (T, with triple space degeneracy) reduced to levels with lower degeneracy (E, with double space degeneracy and A, without degeneracy). Besides this spiting of degeneracy the energy of all states changed and therefore the transition energy between these states changed too. Jahn-Teller effect was observed

In this study, Aluminium based nanocomposite with Al3Ti and Al2O3 nanoparticles have been elaborated by mechanical alloying. For this purpose, Al and TiO2 powders have been blended with weight ratios of 10, 20 and 30 percents and were milled using a planetary mill. The current work reveals the exact nature of the induced interior and exterior coupled-fields of magneto-electro-elastic ellipsoidal inclusions with non-uniform generalized eigenfields, consisting of eigenstrain, eigenelectric, and eigenmagnetic fields. Abstract
Background: The early repolarization pattern (ERP) has been considered a normal variant in electrocardiography (ECG) for a long time. Nevertheless, increasing evidence has demonstrated its association with adverse outcomes. Objectives: The present study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of ERP in the Iranian general population and demonstrate its clinical and ECG correlates. Methods: A cross sectional study, comprising 1424 consecutive healthy adult individuals, was conducted at two university based hospitals in Tehran, Iran in 2012-2013. Abstract
The Carnot, Diesel, Otto, and Brayton power cycles are reconsidered endoreversibly in finite time thermodynamics (FTT). In particular, the thermal efficiency of these standard power cycles is compared to the well-known results in classical thermodynamics. The present analysis based on FTT modelling shows that a reduction in both the maximum and minimum temperatures of the cycle causes the thermal efficiency to increase. This is antithetical to the existing trend in the classical references. Enhanced transmission through metallic gratings with narrow slits is a well-known phenomenon for TM polarized waves at optical and microwave frequencies. A similar though fundamentally different phenomenon, i.e., enhanced reflection at terahertz frequencies, is reported here for the geometrical complement of the structure with narrow slits. The latter phenomenon cannot be related to the former by Babinet's principle, as their origin is quite different, and both are observed for the same polarization. We proposed two different time-dependent modeling approaches for variation of device characteristics of perovskite solar cells under stress conditions. The first approach follows Sah-Noyce-Shockley (SNS) model based on Shockley–Read–Hall recombination/generation across the depletion width of pn junction and the second approach is based on thermionic emission model for Schottky diodes. This study considers a secure network coding problem in which some secret keys are shared among legitimate nodes, and there exists an eavesdropper that is able to hear a subset of links. We show the equivalency of secure network coding under weak and strong secrecy conditions. For linear network coding, we show a stronger result: equivalency of "perfect secrecy and zero-error constraints" to "weak secrecy and ϵ-error constraints".
